This app is a great tool for slowing down at the end of the day, and it’s really cool. It monitors your pulse through your finger over the camera lens (how cool is that?), and works out the optimum breath cycle to match the rhythm of your heart (…and it just got even cooler). This ‘biofeedback’ can have a beneficial effect on your nervous system, which controls your stress and relaxation responses. Give it a try!
BLUE LIGHT FILTERS
If you must be on the phone at night, give yourself the right lighting so that you can drift off. The blue light from screens can disrupt your sleep cycles and prompt your brain to try and stay awake. By filtering it out, you can fall into a more naturally restful state.
